Welcome to Hoodsport! Please bear with us while we perfect our community website. We hope to build a site that visitors and residents alike can use to find out more information about what’s going on in our community.
In the meantime, check out the pages on this site for information about where to stay and what to do in the Hoodsport area.
Victoria: I am scanning websites for current information on Hoodsport Events and anything for us to pass on to visitors, etc. We get mass traffic now that the weather is changing and I want to assure I am aware of community activities. Any further contacts you recommend will help our volunteers. We are open 7 days a week and answer many questions for tourists. Thanks Karen
I am currently “stuck” on questions on fishing areas and rules. The state is generic info but I do have the current fishing guidelines for the State and Park.
Greetings!
On a recent trip to Hoodsport, I decided to shoot a short video. I hope you enjoy!
I would love to shoot some promotional videos and/or commercials for business owners in the area. Spread the word! Best. ~ Duane

Hi Karen:
Just have a question.
How are the roads to travel in a motorhome 43′ in length around Hoodsport area. And can you recommend any RV parks with full hook-up services.
Thank You
Have a super day

Patricia asked me to recognize the Kiwanis for all their efforts and the fine Cedar tree ring planter. They are in the process of aquireing a Living Grand Fir about 12 feet tall for a Dedication Project.

As of 8:00 am the largest King Salmon was a whopping 33 lbs. +, followed by a 28 lb and 23 lb. Hats to the Puget Sound Anglers for pulling off an excellent Sporting Event for the Hood Canal area. We’ll try to make next years even better!
As a part time resident of Tahuya, Washington, on the east side of the canal, I am happy to see a web site being produced! We love visiting Hoodsport for an outing, and often arrive by boat or vehicle for shopping and ice cream! We also love the summer festivals, especially the 4th of July celebration. It will be wonderful to be able to view your web site to plan ahead for our excursions across. Thank you!
Glad to see a community website in the works. Whats going on this 4th of July weekend and what day will the fireworks be on?
